Consumer disclosures
What we are, what we never promise, and how your information is handled — in plain English, because disclosures should be readable.
A consulting and educational practice
A & M Legacy Elevation provides strategic credit education and funding-readiness consulting. A & M Legacy Elevation is an affiliate of A & M Marketing LLC, which is currently the registered operating entity; the final trade and brand-name arrangement is being confirmed in the company’s governing documents and will be reflected here. We teach how credit is reported and scored, help you understand your own reports, and help you prepare your records and story for financing opportunities. We are not a credit repair organization, we are not a lender, and we do not broker loans. We never charge a fee to attempt to remove negative information from a credit report — we do not remove items at all. We educate, guide, and prepare.
What we never promise
No employee, representative, or page of this site may promise you a specific credit score, a permanent score change, removal or deletion of any report item, a loan approval, or funding. If you ever hear a promise like that from anyone representing us, it is unauthorized — please tell us immediately at (205) 243-2778.
Fees and pricing
Our fees and the structure of our services are described in the specific engagement materials we provide before you pay anything. We do not publish pricing promises on this website. You will always see the scope, the fee, and what you are agreeing to in writing before any payment.
Free consultations
We offer free discovery consultations. Their scope is limited to a conversation about your goals and an initial honest read of your situation — they are not full credit or funding analyses and not a commitment of any kind. The scope and duration of a discovery call will be confirmed with you before the call.
Your personal information
We collect only the information you choose to give us — typically your name and a way to reach you. We never ask for sensitive information (Social Security numbers, dates of birth, account numbers, government IDs, or financial documents) through this website, and you should never submit it here. If a service ever requires such information, we will obtain it only through a secure client portal after engagement. We do not sell your information.
Contact consent
When you submit an inquiry, you may consent to being contacted by phone, text, or email about that inquiry. Consent is optional, never a condition of service, and you may withdraw it at any time by telling us. After your matter is resolved, we do not use your contact details for marketing unless you separately opt in.
How credit actually works
Credit scores are calculated by credit bureaus and scoring models from information those models collect. Lenders set their own criteria and make their own decisions. Improvement in a score, if it happens at all, comes from accurate reporting, responsible habits over time, and time itself. Many factors — utilization, payment history, account age, credit mix, and others — can influence a score, and not every factor is within anyone’s direct control.
No government affiliation
This business is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Any reference to government resources is informational only.
